- At the North Area meeting, election is held, after statements from all candidates, during the meeting (area leadership agreed upon timeframe). Results are tallied and verified, and winner is announced via email and notice on this website.
- At the Central Area meeting, Election Committee member announces the election process to fill open NEA Board of Directors spot. The position will be for the remainder of the current election term that ends in July of 2026. After the end of the area meeting candidates may declare their candidacy for the open position in writing by filing a Declaration of Candidacy Form on this website for the interim election position.

- 5:00pm Deadline to submit a Declaration of Candidacy Form for Interim Central Area NEA Director.
- 5:00pm Deadline for Substitutes and Itinerant teachers, and any members not assigned to a single school site, to submit the Itinerant Assignments Declaration Form to be able to vote for in this interim election.
