The election for the Valley East Interim AFT Director position took place at the Valley East Area Meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. The election will be certified at the next Board of Directors meeting on January 25th and Leonard will officially take office. Membership verified that only Valley East active members voted. Leonard was unopposed when he declared for the three year term for this same position. He will serve in the interim position until July 1st when he will begin the regular three-year term of office.
