Itinerant Assignments Declaration Form

The Itinerant Assignments Declaration form is for all members who are not assigned to a single site, work 50% or more of the time in one UTLA Area, and are interested in voting for Area Directors representing the UTLA Area where they work.

The deadline to submit this form is January 3, 2020, one month prior to the date ballots are mailed out.

It is also required if a person, not assigned to a single site, and would like to run for an Area Director position. However, the date for candidate declarations has passed. If submitted by the deadline, Area Director candidates will be on these members’ ballot for the 2020 UTLA Citywide Elections.

The Itinerant Assignments Declaration Form must be submitted each school year. By submitting this form and if it accurately identifies the member, as working 50% or of the time in one area, it can qualify members for the 2019-2020 school year. The members must also meet other eligibility requirements. Members, who are itinerant, will need to submit this form again each school year.
