UTLA North Area interim election announcement
At the February 19, 2025, North Area Meeting, the UTLA Elections Committee has announced that there is a vacancy for the North Area NEA Board of Director position open in North Area, that will be filled in a special election to be held at the North Area Meeting on April 2, 2025.
Candidates may declare their intent to run after the February 19, 2025 Area Meeting digitally by completing the Declaration of Candidacy for Interim Director form. Only nominations submitted online will be accepted. Candidates must have been a member in good standing for 24 months prior to February 19, 2025. The deadline for declarations is Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
The special election will be held at the North Area Meeting on April 2, 2025, after the candidates have given a brief presentation. The results will be verified and posted on this website.
This is a special election that only affects UTLA North Area.
