The UTLA Board of Directors has announced at the Leadership conference meeting that there is a vacancy for the Adult Education Board of Directors. There will be a citywide Adult Education Director interim election done online over the next few months.
Declarations open on August 14 for the Adult Education Director position – and for the general election. Anyone planning on running for both the interim position and the regular three-year term should fill out two declarations covering the interim and the general election.
September 12, 2025 at 5:00 pm is the deadline for declaration for the interim position. September 19, 2025 at 5:00 pm is the deadline for photos, statements, and any information to be posted about the election. The voting begins September 25, 2025 at 8:00 am and ends on October 10, 2025 at 8:00 am. The position will be certified by the UTLA Board of Directors at the next scheduled meeting.
