Q: I don’t have area directors on my ballots?

A: If you are not assigned to a single site and you did not complete the Itinerant Assignment Declaration Form you will not be able vote in the Area Director race.

If you work in the South Area your directors are already elected because they were unopposed. AFT Directors from Valley East , East Area, West Area, Harbor, and Central were unopposed so those races will not be on your ballot.

Q: I should have a special director race on my ballot?

A: Only 3 of the Special Director position were contested: substitutes, special Ed. And Early Childhood Center teachers. If you are an adult Ed., bilingual or Health and Human services your representative is already elected because they were unopposed and will not appear on your ballot.
